Brushing
The area is thoroughly brushed to ensure that all surface debris is removed.
Pressure Cleaning
The area is comprehensively cleaned using a powerful ‘state of the art’ pressure washer to remove the build up of weeds, moss, algae and general dirt and grime that may have built up over time.
Washing Down
The area is then given a gentler ‘hosing’ to prevent the dirt that has been released by the deep cleaning from drying on the surface.
Re-Brushing
The area is once more thoroughly brushed to remove all the surface debris that has emerged during the deep cleaning.
Weed Killing
The area is treated with a fungicidal wash which helps to prevent the re-appearance of unsightly growths of weeds, mould, algae, fungi and moss, etc.
Re-Sanding
Pure kiln dried sand is brushed over the surface repeatedly and allowed to trickle down into the joints to stabilise the paving from movement.
Re-Grouting
Some patios have been jointed with mortar, concrete or cement. If this has become damaged over time then some of the loose material may be washed out by the cleaning process. To save the time and expense of re-pointing the gaps by hand, a specifically designed patio grout can be brushed in. This sets hard, helps to hold the slabs in place and inhibits the re-growth of weeds.
